Description: |
Summary: Supervises and coordinates table gaming on designated tables during assigned shift.
The intent of this position description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by this position. Employee(s) may be required to perform position-related tasks other than those specifically listed in this description.
Essential Job Functions:
• Supervises, trains, counsels, and evaluates table games department staff during assigned shift.
• Monitors dealers and players; maintains card control and rotation, chip control, dealer rotation and other elements of table gaming integrity.
• Starts games, completes table bank fills, makes decisions on closing games, or rules of play.
• Responds to complaints, mediates disputes, and provides professional and positive guest interactions.
• Works at or assists with table gaming.
• Tracks customers play via Bravo pit tracking system.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Interviews and trains employees.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work, appraises performance, rewards and disciplines employees; addresses complaints and resolves problems for employees as well as guests.

Qualifications: |
Required Knowledge of:
• Table gaming rules and strategies of play.
• Computer hardware and software applications.
• Supervisory principles, practices and methods.
• Must be able to pass a basic strategy test.
Required Skill in:
• Explaining and operating table games play.
• Monitoring and providing customer service.
• Operating computer hardware and software applications.
• Supervising, leading, and delegating tasks and authority.
• Communicating both orally and in writing.
• Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with others.
Education, Experience, Licenses, Registrations, and Certifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent, and two (2) years casino table gaming work experience, including one (1) year supervisory experience, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• High security gaming license issued by the Grand Ronde Gaming Commission.
Environmental Factors and Conditions/Physical Requirements:
• Work is performed in a gaming environment, routinely subjected to tobacco smoke and loud noise.
• Work is subject to routinely sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling and lifting up to 10 pounds.
• Work is subject to frequent use of hands to finger, handle, feel and reach with hands and arms.
Equipment and Tools Utilized:
• Equipment utilized includes personal computer, standard office equipment, telephone, and supplies and materials used in various table games, such as cards, card shufflers, dice, crap sticks, roulette balls and chips.
